My last job in my Industrial Training at Jelas Juta is the UKM Convocation in Bangi, Selangor. This is where i was assigned as the switcher operator and technical crew. The setup day we layered the TRIAX cable through the route. Then we setup all the camera and lighting in position. After the all equipment was setup we go back to home. The next day we came and ready for the convocation ceremony. The dress code for the ceremony was a formal. Then, i get to my duty that i was assigned as the switcher operator. Through the entire 5 days i was on my duty taking order from the Director to switch the shot from the camera to be sent to the program out where the audience gonna watch. The event goes smoothly and no problem was faced. Even its raining, the event goes well and still in schedule. After the days, we came to the end of the event, we pack our gear and all the equipment that been used and load in the back of the lorry. The job's teach me how to learn to communicate and be alert when the Director want to switch the shot. All the program that going out at the screen is in the switcher operator's hand. It really a good experience and knowledge for me.
